Prince George County, Virginia

Prince George County, Virginia is a county located in the Commonwealth of Virginia with a population of about 40,000 people. The surrounding counties of this area include Petersburg, Hopewell, Colonial Heights, Waverly, Sussex, Charles City and Surry County. While this area may seem small to some, there are many intriguing things that this county has to offer. One of the biggest industries in this area is the new Rolls-Royce factory. Fort Lee military base is also located in Prince George County. Along with this, there are many parks, museums, lakes and ponds that can be enjoyed by all. Our courthouse, library, school board office and police station are all located in Downtown Prince George.


For your children, we also have a Recreation League where we offer every sport from Basketball and Football to Golf and Swimming. We are home of Prince George Royals high school teams. Our schools include Prince George High School, N.B Clements Junior High School, JEJ Moore Middle School, Walton Elementary School, North Elementary, South Elementary, Harrison Elementary and Beazley Elementary School.
Interesting Facts about Prince George County include:
  • Reggie Williams a shooting guard from VMI signed with the NBA's Golden State Warriors, was born in Prince George.
  • Johnny Oates, the Major League Baseball player and manager graduated from Prince George High School also.

  4. HTML5 is going to take over everything. I think the video tag will be a very neat feature as weel. The new tags HTML5 will bring will change a lot in the world of coding.
